Short period in Microsoft, Redmond Usa. As a contract in Digital, MA (Usa) I participated to the porting of the DECmcc product from DEC/Ultrix to SRV4.0 Olivetti Unix, with a duration of three years. DECmcc was a network management framework snmp based. Development of a Lan/Wan Software Distribution product written in C language in the Unix and Windows operating systems. Project end development of benchmarks for Lan services. Comparison between Microsoft Lan Manager and other compatible versions under Unix. Performance evaluation duties of lan protocols.
